According to ESPN, Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has responded to his critics in the Spanish media. The Portuguese forward opened fire on recent media stories that are giving him an unfair reputation
The FIFA Balon d'Or winner was responding to the reports making ground after a picture gesture was released during Madrid’s 4-1 victory over Celta Vigo last week suggesting he believes celta had received a maletin, a bribe or financial incentive, to beat Madrid, on behalf of their Clasico rivals FC Barcelona.
He was quoted as saying "People talk about me and don't know s---," when they talk about Cristiano they get it wrong, inside and outside of football… They always have two stones in their hands when I speak... I am not a saint, but I am not a devil either, which is what many people say I am."

Despite the negative reports making ground about him, Ronaldo still took the time to celebrate Madrid's manager and teammates on Twitter and Instagram for helping secure the trophy.
