Chelsea planning big surprises for captain John Terry

According to Skysport, Chelsea are reportedly planning a number of surprises for clubs captain John Terry.

The English star will play for the last time at Stamford Bridge today after 22 years at the club. The club will give free beer, prosecco, and water for supporters in general admission areas to celebrate their Premier League title triumph

If Chelsea beats Sunderland today, they will become the first side to win 30 matches in a 38-game season.
They have also been reports that as a tribute to Terry, the club is retiring his number 26 shirt when he leaves after next Saturday's FA Cup final against Arsenal.

Chelsea legend honoured with a customized WWE Championship belt

Chelsea captain John Terry has been Honoured with a custom made WWE Championship belt to co-moderate Chelsea’s success in winning the Premier League.

Terry will lift the Premier League trophy with vice-captain Gary Cahill at Stamford Bridge on Sunday after their game with relegated side Sunderland on the final day of the league season. It will be the fifth time he has done so and will prove a fitting farewell to the club.

Terry has made 716 appearances for Chelsea and won 15 major trophies since he joined the club in 1995 when he was just 14.

Frank Lampard hails ex-Chelsea teammate John Terry as the greatest ever Premier League defender

Chelsea‘s all-time leading goalscorer Frank Lampard has paid tribute to the soon-departing club captain John Terry, labelling him the “greatest defender” he ever played with.

It was announced on Monday that Terry was calling time on his illustrious 22-year association at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

The 36-year-old has been a Blues stalwart, joining the club’s academy aged 14 and making his first-team debut all the way back in 1998.

Terry has made over 700 appearances across all competitions for the Blue, winning four Premier League titles, one Champions League, five FA Cups, three League Cups and one Europa League.

In fact, I'd put him up with any defender in world football of any era. He led the club both on and off the pitch from the moment he made his debut. He was, and is, a legend, not just for his talent but just as much for his desire to get the best out of himself and others around him. Terry has confirmed that he intends to carry on playing, but it remains to be seen where the former Nottingham Forest loanee will end up.
